--------------------------------------------------------------------- Policy for making public presentations of Belle results ---------------------------------------------------------------------- When a BELLE member makes a presentation on BELLE physics at any conference, workshop, seminar or other type of meeting outside BELLE, it should be in accordance with the following rules: (1) The content of the talk should only include those results that have been presented at a group-wide meeting, i.e., BELLE general meeting or analyis meeting. No new results can be presented before a group wide discussion. Exceptions to this rule can be minor updates of a number or a plot. (2) When one gives a talk at a conference, meeting or workshop, he/she has to post the slides on WWW page at least one week before the presentation, and announce it to all the collaborators by e-mail. (This rule does not apply to seminars.) (3) The spokespersons can request that a practice talk be given. (4) Submission of abstracts can be done without the permission of the group, provided it satisfies rule (1). All the abstracts should be available on the web. * Note added to (1): [Decided at EB on 2014.06.23] A new preliminary result must be accompanied with either a - Draft for journal paper which is at least in the collaboration-wide review stage and has been approved by referees for conference presentation, or - Referee-approved conference paper posted in the arXiv.org before the presentation of results. [ This is effective immediately after ICHEP 2014. ]
