----------------------------------------------------------- Policy for providing data to theorists and other colleagues ----------------------------------------------------------- In general, we will give theorists our published physics outputs from Belle analysis, IF they can be used without knowledge specific to the experiment. Once results are published, we can release the corresponding data values (for example, for published plots of cross-sections we can give out tables of data values). Provide detailed data to theory groups after final results are submitted to hep-ex archive and journal We will NOT distribute data on unpublished physics results ------------------------------------------ Policy on Unpublished preliminary results ------------------------------------------ The results presented as preliminary at conferences are valid Belle preliminary results for at most three years.(*) Belle only allows outside authors to use plots from physics results that are published in a journal article We recommend quoting only official results and valid preliminary results in journal articles. In the latter case, we ask the authors to explicitly mention that the result is preliminary (*) Similarly, HFAG removes preliminary results after 2+1 years. When results are published in journal, they are regarded as Belle official (final) results. These supersede the corresponding preliminary results. [ Both are approved at March-2013 EB/BGM ]
