------------------------------------------------------------------- Replacement of Shift Taking by other forms of service work ------------------------------------------------------------------- discussed at 2010 July IB/BGM ratified at 2010 November IB/BGM After the end of data taking at the Belle experiment (30-June-2010), the shift requirements [*] have now been replaced by other service work. Types of service work: journal paper refereeing, systematic studies, MC production, software tool development, student supervision, outreach, and management. In addition, Belle II / SuperKEKB design, construction and software are also considered to be acceptable forms of Belle service work. The relevance of service work may be identified by the spokespersons if necessary. Service work accounting: Each IB representative reports the individual service work contributions of each of their group members once a year (in April at the start of JFY) to the IB chair. The composite report is then circulated to all Belle members.
